Booked this cruise for a winter get away and we REALLY picked a good time to be away as the Midwest was Frigid. We sailed with 2 other couples. Embarkation was very smooth and we were on the ship after a very short wait. The Divina is a very beautiful and well maintained ship.
We went to the Sports Bar shortly afternoon to find out it would not be opening as advertised so went to buffet on 14. The buffet sported a very good selection of different foods and there was some variety change throughout the entire cruise. The Black Crab dining room was a little different as many of the dishes were not up to par and only a FAIR selection overall. Difficulty getting ice to table on a few nights and also several wines were unavailable even when suppose to be on the package. Mario, the restaurant manager was very friendly.
We had an Aft Balcony on 13. The room was very nice and well cared for. The balcony was only about 2 ft deep, so barely a balcony. The TV had only a few channels that weren't MSC related or news. Bathrooms were fair size and the body wash was poor quality.
Cabin was of good size and well kept.
Rented a van for group of 6 and toured the whole island.
Took local transportation to beach close to the lighthouse for some water time.
