This was our second cruise with Princess in the Caribbean. We were very pleased with the first cruise and this second one didn’t disappoint. The Regal Princess is a new ship so the cabin and all public areas were in excellent condition and very attractive. We particularly enjoy the Piazza area on Princess ships. This is a great central area to relax, people watch and enjoy a variety of entertainment. We’ve also sailed with Celebrity and Holland America but haven’t encountered anything similar. Regal Princess is a large ship but we never felt crowded and were always able to find seating on deck and in dining and public areas without any trouble

We celebrated my birthday on this trip and were surprised and delighted with the way this special day was recognized by Princess. I received two gifts - $50 off a spa treatment and one cover charge in a specialty dining room (a $29 value.)

The food was very good - especially in the specialty Crown Grill restaurant - and service was excellent.

Deluxe Balcony

Cabin DB

Very comfortable bed and seating area. Plenty of closet space.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

This was a reef and wreck snorkelling expedition. Overall very good though the wreck itself was modern and rather uninteresting. The reef portion was great.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Enjoyed the airboat ride and alligator show. Our tour guide (Lance) was particularly good. He filled the ride to and from the Everglades with lots of interesting and relevant information.
