Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

This was our first Norwegian cruise. We chose it for the itinerary. We have cruised a dozen times from very small ships (Galapagos) to the biggest ship in the world (Harmony of the Seas). We are flexible and easy to please but always do our research (ports and excursions) ahead of time.

The ship was spotlessly clean and our cabin steward was very attentive.

The food in the Manhattan dining room was terrific. Service was fine as well, but on the first night the staff had only one line for seating for people WITH and WITHOUT reservations. How strange! Why make a reservation if you had to wait in line anyway? Fortunately, this was adjusted by the 2nd day.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Deck 13 forward area balcony cabin. Not real sure of the category, BX I think.

Efficiently laid out cabin. Nice bathroom. BIG shower.

Balcony big enough only for 2 people. OK with us. We were only 2 people.

Port Reviews

Harvest Caye

A very nice facility. We just walked around on our own.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We walked the 7 mile beach and bought jewelry at Diamond International.

Ocho Rios

Nice but I wish we had done research and were prepared for a beach day.

Only $3 ($5 with chair) at a public beach within walking distance.

Next time! That's our plan!

New Orleans

We arrived a day early and explored on our own,

The WWII museum is a "must see"
