Cabin: Mid-ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Took NCL Bliss from Miami to British and US Virgin Islands then to Nassau. No where I wanted to really go but heard it was all about the new ship. We found the cabins lovely, especially the comfortable bed and large shower. The ship is designed for Alaska, not a Caribbean cruise. Thr pool area is way too small for the size of the ship and the chairs are uncomfortable and tightly packed. The regular restaurants were average at best. Service was poor. Attention to detail non existent. Most of the specialty restaurants except the Italian one were much better.....the French and Seafood ones were excellent and worth the $$$. Drinks on the ship were poorly made and very inconsistent. They can't make an old fashioned as many tries as I gave them! Shows varied -- Jersey Boys was very good, Havana was weak as was the comedian we saw. Loved the enclosed observation deck when weather turned bad but for most of trip it was a waste...unless you're in Alaska!
