Since you asked...

We chose this cruise because of a 30 day price reduction. Empty nest therapy sessions and convalescence from an injury at our stage in life was much desired and needed respite.

Oceania was recommended by my In-laws. We had sailed on The Riviera and loved it.

Cabin Review

Vista Suite

Cabin VS

What a beautiful ship. Sailing out of Manhattan Terminal in August is deliciously

Exhilarating!

The crew had us attend the compulsory muster dill, of course,

Once all safety procedures were noted we were off and running. Spa, golf, pool or something to eat? Decisions decisions??????

Better unpack first. We did it ourselves even though it is offered by your butler.

The Vista Suite is gorgeous. The big spacious deck, spilled out from the dining area. The couch and coffee table were comfortable to curl up and watch a movie or read their daily news. There was space for a combo area with a bar and a small foyer with a second bathroom.

The master chambers is well appointed with a lighted vanity, closets and a safe. The bed is amazing and their are two sliders in the Vista suite so you can sleep at the bridge of the ship with the door open if you like.

The dining rooms are clean and efficient with scrumptiousness at every turn. Carving stations, pasta stations, omelette stations and baristas are available every day.

The pool is calm with huge double chaises to sprawl out or cuddle up. Adjacent to the pool is the outdoor grill with healthy choices as well as decadent lobster and fresh selections everyday. The Reuben is outstanding!

The casino is great fun with or with out a drink. Roulette is as fun as the tournaments where you can win a surprisingly nice chuck of change to save or spend.

Most folks are over 55 and well up into their 80s. The nurse and doctor are available for anyone needing attention.

If you have kids this cruise probably isn’t for you. There are no climbing walls and arcades.

Instead their is an adult entertainment venue and bar. As well, there is a small concert in the evening for relaxing. Be mindful of the little things. They make a difference.

The ship is so beautiful and our trip to New England, Canada, Nova Scotia and Bermuda were absolutely well worth the cost.

Our steward and housekeeper as well as our butler were very professional and

Sometimes very talkative. They had obviously been well prepared for their tasks

And tended to every need.
