This 14 day cruise cover the southern caribbean . It has a very good itinary the included St Thomas, Aruba, St Kitts, Barbados, antigua. The only drawback was that the ship did not stay long enough in most of these locations. But we enjoyed visting these places especially the nice beaches. We sailed the same ship few months ago and it was great. This time we noticed a significant deterioration in several areas. Food was terrible especially the buffet . It was hard to tell what we were eating and the small area in the Pizzaz where they have some snacks was very bad. We could not see any shows . They have 2 nightly shows that were always completely full as early as 2 hours before each show. We complained to customer relations that we cannot go to the theater 2 hours early but nothing was done. Royal Caribbean handle that much better. Dining was fine but again the quality of food was poor. The medallion system is new and helpful and it could be used to control reservations for the shows . The ship is a little old but nice and pleasant. The majority of passengers on this cruise were seniors and handicapps , there were very few children. Caribbean Princess is not recommended and my advice if you decide to to cruise this ship is to call and ask about the demography of the cruise you are taking. Both emparkation and disembarkation were very smooth and fast.
