We are a couple in our early forties and chose this cruise for two reasons. Firstly, we had taken a cruise with P&O two years ago which was particularly average. Secondly, we felt that Princess did not actively encourage children due to its lack of giant water slides and variety of kids' clubs. We do like children, but prefer a relaxing holiday in the company of adults - and this opinion was shared by many passengers that we socialised with. We were not disappointed! The demographic was predominantly adults 35-70. The ship was clean, well appointed and the staff were just fantastic. We booked a mini-suite which was spotlessly clean and spacious. There was a great choice of bars and entertainment throughout the cruise and our shore excursions were efficient and represented good value. It is worth noting that the James Bond Islands tour involves almost a four hour return bus journey and the K.L. city journey is not short either. We probably would not have booked those tours had we known the travel time. The best part of this cruise was the staff. They went out of their way to be friendly and share a joke or two. The ship is so clean and well maintained with plenty to do. The drinks package is definitely good value and there is a huge variety of included cocktails to choose from. The bed and pillows were just divine! We will absolutely sail with Princess from now on and are already looking for our next destination!
