I chose this cruise based on ship size-bigger than last years we went on and last yr I took kids this yr I chose to go solo which ppl may think thats odd and I did get some looks because most ppl in general are with family or couples. Thats fine, I enjoyed doing what I want, when I wanted. The 5 day relaxation was fantastic. Embarkation fantastic Terminal A is wonderful you drop off luggage with porter This ship and if youve downloaded RC app or printed your set sail pass, you are ready to board. Rooms are ready two hours after boarding so I recommend a carry on with everything you need temporarily. The ship is big but you'd be surprised you seem to run into the same ppl all the time. I mostly ate in Windjammer but first night I booked Izumi Hibachi-best hibachi Ive ever been to. Very entertaining even with only 4 ppl at the table. Last night I went to main dining and met some fantastic ppl who carried on great conversation on either side of me, I felt very comfortable. Service everywhere I went was fantastic. My room steward was amazing as well he was always nearby if you needed anything and set up a few towel critters each night. My room was always clean. Please tip your steward last day, i didnt want to leave in envelope in room, I gave directly to him and told him he was amazing. Pools are a little chilly and main pool area hot tubs get over run with kids. Pool towels plentiful and pick up/return and exchange super easy with room key. I loved deck 5. The promenade was the hub of life and entertainment. Shops and bars and restaurants as well as customer service and next cruise/cruise excursions. I liked the ambiance of the Bamboo room, but the drink I had was too strong and I didnt like it, and the lamps at table are too low, I hit my head. My favorite bar was the english sports bar had games and lots of sports on tvs I watched a soccer match one evening. Boleros was good-latin theme drinks were delicous I highly recommend a caribbean painkiller but on the last night of cruise, the bartenders seemed a little less friendly. The entertainment staff and cruise director were energetic and friendly and super talented. I love the 4 man band that would perform each night in promenade, they were nothing short of amazing. I took in an ice show as well on deck 3. On the day at sea - i did the sky zone with is the bungee trampoline. Super fun. Late night if you want snack on deck 5 next to ben and jerrys was pizza and sandwhiches coffee, water and tea. They have room service but I didnt use service. The comedy show was good too, there is almost too much to do all the time even sometimes you want to do stuff things run at the same time you have pick and choose which one you want to do more. I absolutely loved this cruise and hated debarking day :(

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin 4V

Im pretty sure I was an interior 4v. I traveled solo so my room request of king bed, it was prepared as such and also had a small couch in room. Love the refurb. Bathroom shower was like a little pod with closing doors as opposed to when I went on Enchantment last year, it was an awful flimsy shower curtain and water got everywhere so this was definitely welcomed. Utlized safe for passports and car keys so i didnt lose as well as additional money I didnt want to carry all the time. Room also had a small refrigerator that was awesome as well but I didnt have a need to utilized it. My closet was spacious as I typically hang everything. For one person who doesnt stay in room long this was perfect.

Port Reviews

Miami

Love this port. Terminal A is new and beautiful, you can tell they are updating this port in other terminals as well.

Nassau

This is my second time in Nassau. I will review both trips since I didnt my first time in Nassau. First time, we couldnt go to cococay so we went right to Nassau and arrived at 7pm. This was fine for us we ate dinner on ship then my kids and I went to party at Senor Frogs--super fun. An easy find you can see it from docks. The next day we had a sea lion experience booked on Blue Lagoon island took taxi and everything was arranged. We then did a little shopping in port. Even though bay street is the hub, i recommend wandering on side streets for smaller boutique style shops bars and restaurants. They also have the typical chains in Nassau-Starbucks, McDonalds etc. That was trip one. This current trip already familiar, i booked a day pass at Melia in Cable Beach. I walked pass cruiseport taxi nazis and went to bay street and found a kinder woman taxi driver who gave me a cheaper rate. We talked the entire 20 min ride and she was super friendly and it was a pleasure to talk with her. Melia was a great find, nothing fancy just another beach day with fruity drinks and swim up bar.
