I chose this cruise because my friend was going to come with me. It would be her first cruise ever and I thought Norwegian was a good starting point. I especially wanted her to see The Baths in Tortola.

The cruise didn’t turn out even slightly like I imagined it would. You can look on YouTube for the many videos of the mess that happened on this ill fated cruise. It was awful. We not only missed all of our ports of call, we also missed the Latitudes parties and dinner with an officer. We were told that all of the officer staff was working on the engine problems. I’m sure the hotel manager was very helpful. The only good thing was that we got our cruise fare back as a future cruise credit.

The main disappointment was that we were basically kept in the dark about what was happening. When the captain did come on over the intercom, you couldn’t understand anything he said. Luckily the cruise director would often reinterpret what he said into English. We had 3 separate times communicated to us about our arrival into Port Canaveral. People were crowding the reception area trying to change their flights home. It was ridiculous.

Good. Location was right for steadiness, but awful for getting anywhere since the stairways and elevators were only on the ends. Got lots of walking.
