We chose this NCL cruise because it appeared to be a good way to visit 4 Hawaii Islands without unpacking and changing hotels. My wife and I have cruised on 3 other cruises in the past, but it has been over 10 years since our last cruise. Our cruise was from 2/9/2019 thru 02/16/2019. The weather in Hawaii was extremely winding and this caused many issues. First we were not able to dock in Maui at the beginning of the week which diverted us to Kauai, this caused all of our excursions to be change for these two ports which were both over night stops. We did management to stop at Hilo and Kona, but the wind caused our helicopter ride in Kona to be canceled, we were not informed of this until minutes before we were to head out it was 10:30am so we were too late to schedule any other excursions. We were also told that Kona only had small beaches so we decided not to plan on going to the beach only to find that they had a nice beach right where we were tendering in.

The cruise never docked in Maui, which was questionable the second day, as we spent another day sailing around Maui, why if the weather was so bad did we not go back to Honolulu?

NCL made no special offers, events, happy hours or any other concessions to their guests during the two days that we were stuck on the boat sailing around!
