This was our first cruise and we decided to go without the kids. We both had the best time! The ship was very clean and everyone on board was incredibly nice and considerate. We left out of Galveston which is not far from where we live in Houston. Parking was a breeze because we booked beforehand. We were about 30 minutes early from our actual arrival time but they let us on anyhow. Checking in was smooth and everyone was very helpful.

Our room was on the Lido deck and we had a balcony. There was enough space for the 2 of us to where we weren't feeling like we were cramped. The beds were more comfortable than I had imagined them to be, considering we asked for a king bed and they really just pushed 2 twin beds together. It wasn't a both for neither I or my husband. It was so nice coming back to the room at night to a nice clean area.

The dining room was excellent! The first night I was sick with a head cold, therefore I couldn't taste much of my food. I was unhappy with what I ordered but just chalked it up to me not feeling very well. However, our waiter wasn't okay with the fact that I didn't eat much of my food. He insisted on getting me something that I would actually eat, but he was very nice about it. I never felt like I was putting anyone out. We had the absolute best waiter! And the entertainment was great!
