Chose this cruise with the main intention to see the Northern Lights. Viking handled all the arrangements for us. Our flight schedule from our home in Tennessee to the ship in England was smooth and very prompt. We only had a couple hours between stops and the transfer from the airport to the ship was quick and smooth. There was always someone there to direct us and get us to the right place.
Tip! The ship store has ice cleats for $10 a pair and trecking poles for $17 each. And I advise you to get a pole. Cleats not so much.
Included tours: We went on every included trip and enjoyed them all. Note: The crew does a great job of getting everyone on and off the ship and buses but it is cold and dark sometimes so react accordingly. Also the days are short this time of year so you need to be on the early tours for the excursions except the Lights hunting then later is better. Remember the crew can't change the weather!

Aft cabin 3096, We love aft cabins! There is minimal drawer space but all in all not bad. The twin beds when pushed together to create a big single bed creates a hump in the middle that is not conducive to snuggling but it is comfortable. The only complaint we had was the 3 inches of water that lived on our veranda. Maintenance came and drained it once but it came right back. It even wet the carpet inside the cabin which was a bother. We could not use the veranda without putting on waterproof shoes.
