The embarkation and disembarkation from this ship was extremely smooth and well managed.
We have travelled previously on the Royal Princess, so found this ship very familiar although it does have some differences and is more targeted at Chinese passengers with much of the signage and announcements being in dual language. I did miss the Pizzeria by the pool which is on the Royal, which is replaced with Chopsticks Noodle Bar on this ship.
The Hollywood pool club is a wonderful area on the ship. Not only does it has an indoor pool, it also has floor to ceiling windows with comfortable chairs to enjoy the views.
Cabin Review
Mini-Suite with Balcony
This Cabin is on Marina (deck 15).
The cabin its self was nice, and as expected of a mini suite on this ship.
The curtain dividing the bed from the lounge was great. It meant I could get up in the morning and relax on the lounge while my partner still slept.
The only issue with this room is the view from the balcony.
Directly about this room is the seaview bar, which extends out several meters from the ship. This means that the balcony on the room is overshadowed by the seaview bar above, which results in it being very difficult to view the scenery (or take any photos) from the balcony as you can only look down, not up or straight out.
There is also sometimes noise in the room from people running and moving chairs on the deck above.
Overall a nice room, but it does have its faults.
