We chose this cruise because we really enjoy the Eastern Caribbean. We like to include an island we haven't been to and St Croix was it this time. This was our 1st 10 day cruise as well with 2 cruising days on each end of this adventure with 5 islands in a row in the middle.

There were more older couples on the ship than younger but that was OK with us. We were looking for relaxing and quieter surroundings. The usual pool activities like the Belly flop competition and sports events such as the Rock Climbing Wall, dodge ball, and basketball took place. Dance classes, art events, drink mixing; all the usual things that take place while one is on board were in full swing. The crew of the Serenade of the Seas were truly outstanding. Always a smile with a "what can I do for you" attitude.

The food and dining was very good. We bought a 3 night package that gives you a discount on wine and takes care of the extra charge before you board. Chops grille twice and Giovanni's Table once were our picks but it didn't matter because they were both excellent. The Windjammer buffet had an excellent selection all day long. We chose the late seating in the Reflections dining room. Our waiters were Dede and Lois and they did a great job. I sometimes wonder why people complain about the food. Sure a specialty restaurant is a bit above the main dining room fare but isn't it supposed to be? I'll just say this: At the end of the week the greens were still crisp and the entree's still done to perfection. Selection was top notch.

Cabin Review

Grand Suite

Cabin GS

We stayed in the same suite aboard the Jewel of the Seas in 2017. Really like the Suite situated on the top rear starboard corner of the ship. Relaxing view of where you have been with minimal wind. A little noise from the "Windjammer" above but usually just in the daytime.

Port Reviews

Antigua

Rained that morning. Went shopping and stopped for a beer. Good day.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Just some shopping.
