Just got back from a 3 night cruise. Overall we had a fantastic experience. This was our 4th cruise and first with RCL (2 Celebrity and a princess before). We are a 40 year old couple from the US. We plan to check out other RCL ships for a future cruise with our child.

--we did the online pre-check in process. we ignored the time we were forced to choose for embarking and showed up early at 9:45am since that was when our hotel shuttle dropped us off - we got on the ship quickly and hassle free, roughly 10:45am. Windjammer didn't open until after 11:30 though.but we could stroll around and check things out. Very impressed how quickly we got on board!!!

--our window room was comfortable had a ton of drawer storage. We couldn't get a balcony (they don't have many) so this was our option...next time I think we'd just do interior if the balcony isn't available as the window didn't really do much for us. Be aware that there is no fridge. Room was clean but showing some age here and there. room steward was polite and courteous. A few little things were off..like, no pen and pad of paper in the desk.... and our standard size suitcases did not fit under the bed so they sat on a chair, which was in our room for unexplained reasons..perhaps as a suitcase holder...?.

Do not book this room if you go to bed early. You can hear noise when the band plays or when there are loud activities in the central area which it is adjacent to. (We didn't care since we were out late at night and didn't spend much time in the room on such a short cruise. But I would not pay extra to choose this room UNLESS you want to be able to get to and from the bar quickly. Then, this room is totally for you!!)

Note that since it is the first stateroom of that corridor, you get a lot of people walking past to go to/from their rooms. At night, once activities were done, the only noise came from the hallway when people would walk by and would be talking loudly. Next time we will book away from the center of the ship.
