I picked this cruise because of an attractive cruisefare and the fact that the ship embarked only a two hour drive from my house in Florida. Boarding was very easy and quick and we were able to get in our cabin within one hour of being on board. Went to the buffet for lunch and found an ample variety of food offers and plenty of open seating. Food was very good sampling of American style dishes. We found plenty of organized activities onboard and nightly shows. Movies on the upper deck also. Standard dining rooms offered decent food with many choices. Lobster night was great. We tried the upcharge Italian restaurant, the steakhouse, and the sushi restaurant. All three were great and worth the upcharge. Very many shore excursions at various ports and my wife and granddaughter took several and enjoyed them. All in all a good cruise up until the Saturday we left the ship. We felt queasy once we debarked off of the ship but thought it was just us getting our landlegs back. Sunday morning it got worse with an added headache for my wife and I and associated bathroom problems. We went to the doctor on Monday and were told that we both had the flu which due to the fact that we were on the ship all week must have been contracted there. Like I said a good cruise but the follow up week has been terrible.
Cabin was decent sized. We had three people and there was room for us.
We did an all inclusive beach resort in Punta Cana. Overpriced and constantly hounded by people trying to sell us souveniers.
My wife and granddaughter did this. Both said it was fantastic.
Did a walking tour of the fort and had an authentic lunch at a Puerto Rican restaurant. Great!
We just did the beach next to the ship. It was a cloudy rainy day.
