We obviously read the reviews on here, and knew that this was an older ship that didn’t have all the bells and whistles of some

Of the newer mega ships. We sailed with some friends and 4 days was a perfect amount of time to set sail for both of us.

The food, while restaurants were limited, was still great. The pizza is the best I’ve had at sea for a quick snack.

Eko and Sharron in the main dining room were top notch and work very hard to please every guest.

Our balcony cabin, although dated, was very efficient and served its purpose. Our room steward was fantastic. We were in 8570. We did find hot water scarce after day one, but warm was ok.

Our ports were Nassau and cococay.

Nassau we just wanted to check out briefly to see the shops and check out the beach. It was nice we were able to take our drinks for our short walk through the town before heading back to the ship to enjoy a pretty quiet pool deck and take advantage of our drink packages.

Cococay was unreal. We had a cabana booked on the private beach area. It came with our own private bar, buffettt and beach. They were very strict to enforce people without VIP bracelets were not to come into the private area. The butlers were always available to get us drinks and the buffet food was awesome. BBQ fare, salads, steaks, kabobs desserts etc.

We can’t wait to return to this island when it is no longer under construction as the projected layout and design of pools and the water park look unbelievable and the construction is well under way.

The entertainment on the ship was great with lots to do every night for all tastes.

The beverages were amazing and I would recommend the beverage package if you like to drink. It came with a chip activated cup to use at self serve Coca Cola machines to save lining up at a bar for a Soda or non carbonated coke or Minute Maid product. All the top shelf drinks are included in the deluxe package.

Pool deck was pretty good, really busy on sea day, but that’s always the case. Lots of tables in the shade if you need it and lots of unused loungers in the shade. If you want a chair by the pool good luck. Pools weren’t very busy though even on sea day.

Casino is nice... was hoping for a poker game but there wasn’t enough to play anytime I went in. Roulette and blackjack was good although I didn’t win. It is smoky though as most are at sea.

Embark and disembarkment were unreal. We were pre booked in and basically walked on the ship stopping once to meet friendly staff to take our photos for our ID cards. Literally 10 mins on the ship.

Coming off was a small line for self service walk off as we had to leave first to catch a flight and that was also a beeeze.

All in all it was great value for an older ship.

Yes you can see some wear and tear but that was expected as we did our due diligence reading the reviews here before booking. If you want new and shiny don’t book this cruise. If you want friendly staff and delicious food and drinks and a good time, come here.
