We have Cruised on Celebrity many times and this ship was well well maintained. The crew, including housekeeping and dining room service, were excellent. Food was actually better than I remembered it on my last cruise, including the buffet and Opus dining room, where we dined for all but one day of the cruise. We ate in the Lawn Grill on deck 15 for one night and found the food to be excellent and plentiful. Ports of call included Aruba Curacao , Bonaire (great for snorkeling) Grand Cayman, and Cartagena, Columbia, which I could have done without. My only complaint is with the entertainment. Most of it was bland and stale production shows and performers, with a few exceptions. Indoing their part to save the environment, Celebrity has chosen to replace plastic straws with was paper straws, which is probably a good thing. However, it seems that no matter which bar you purchase a drink from, They will never give you a paper napkin unless you ask/ Since paper is biodegradable, this rings of pettiness on the part of Celebrity. Overall, a very satisfying cruise.
Our cabin was located at the part of the ship that bows out, near the elevators. Excellent location. Cabin was always clean and neat due to our excellent cabin attendant Jaywil. The cabin could use more drawers for storage and, as usual on the Solstice class of ships, the night-stand is small and lacking drawers. The bed was comfortable.
