This is a smaller ship than we are used to and find that the activities on the ship are not as good as the slightly larger ships.
We stayed in Rotterdam for a few nights prior to our cruise and it was great. Our hotel was next to the cruise terminal which was very convenient for embarkation day. Embarkation was not as smooth as others that we have done, could be improved. Disembarkation was the same. The ship is one of there older ships and could do with some refurbishment. The cabin was standard, but the door to the balcony was awful. It was not a sliding door, but a heavy outward swinging door and very heavy. To keep it open to allow fresh air, you had to jam something in to it. The entertainment was average and could be improved. The service was fantastic and wish all ships would do similar, especially in their bistros. The ports were fantastic and the reason that we booked this cruise in the first place. We would go again in a heartbeat, but maybe try a different cruise line.
Standard cabin with balcony. The bathroom was a good size. Wardrobe could have been bigger.
Was a great day doing our own thing. Walked in to the old town from the ship and just wondered for the day. Only drawback was that it started to rain mid afternoon
Great tour. The steam Train ride was fantastic and well worth doing.
We were here on a sunday and the place is basically shut until after mid-day, so not a good place to visit on your own on a Sunday, recommend taking a tour.
we are here for 2 days and so we get hop-on-hop-off bus tickets for 2 days, this gives us the ability to get around for the time and well worth the money spent. It also gives you a boat tip around, with hop-on-hop-off privilleges as well.
