Activities:

I had such high hopes for the Kids club- I particularly liked that Disney allowed all children from 3-12 to be in the same club so my daughters could be together. Unfortunately the clubs were so incredibly large that it was overwhelming for my four year old. She became separated from her older sister and there was not enough staff to help her to find an activity that she could participate in or to help her feel comfortable. She wandered around crying for some time before her big sister found her and located a staff member to call us. During Pluto's pajama party another child pulled my daughters hair extremely hard and wouldn't let go. There were not any staff around to intervene and no one contacted me or mentioned the incident when I picked them up. I feel that there should be enough staff to provide more supervision and to engage with the children in their care. The shows were all outstanding! The pool was much too small to go in and the hot tubs were very crowded, although my eldest daughter loved the slide (weather permitting)

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin 09C

Our cabin had plenty of space for our family of four. My nine year old daughter loved the pullman bed, and the split bathroom feature with bathtub worked very well for my family, particularly in getting ready for the day. We also appreciated the curtain divider between the pullman bed/sleeper sofa and bed. Our room was very quiet with the exception of other guests slamming doors, and our stateroom host, Maricris, was incredibly friendly and efficient. She gave my daughters hugs each day and was so pleasant.

Port Reviews

Galveston

Our flight was delayed and we arrived in Galveston very late in the evening and stayed at Moody Gardens. I can't say enough good things about this hotel! From the moment we walked in it had a magical holiday feel...it was decorated beautifully! There were holiday lights all around the property and Iceland was incredible. We didn't have time to see all of the attractions, but we loved the hotel so much we are staying there again in 2020 prior to another cruise.

Key West

We were very lucky to have perfect weather when we docked in Key West. We rented a golf cart and toured the island on our own. My daughters, 4 and 9, loved this! We drove to Higgs Beach and lounged in the sand for a while before getting drinks near the dock. It was beautiful and clean, but beware the baby jellyfish that wash up ashore. They look like small blue balloons and had we not been warned they would have been tempting for the kids to pick up and easy to step on!

Nassau

The weather was windy and cold...so windy that the minute we stepped off the ship my daughters sunglasses were blown off her face! I had purchased resort for a day passes at the British Colonial Hilton, which were non-refundable. We decided to try anyway, and had the weather been in our favor the Hilton was a great affordable option for families. It was a close walk from the ship which was a plus for us since we weren't traveling with passports. Check in was easy, and there were paddleboats available had the sea not been so rough. Service was good and the pass included a food and beverage credit. There were plenty of loungers, and the pool and bathroom/changing facilities were clean and well kept.
