Choose this cruise due to the ports of call offered by Princess in South East Asia.

Overall we were very satisfied with this cruise. In fact we completed two back to back 10 day cruises which covered different ports of call.

A couple ports of call had 2 to 3 hours of driving to the main City attractions which took a lot of time away from actually seeing attractions. Princess should allow more time in port or overnight to be able to spend enough time at attractions. Two different ports only allowed about 2-1/2 to 3 hours before having to drive back to cruise ship.

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin IC

Cabin is on the small size which is typical with most Interior rooms with Princess. The most annoying aspect is the extremely small shower. Some rooms have larger showers but the majority are very small.

Port Reviews

Singapore

Singapore is fantastic. Don't be afraid to use the MRT. It is easy to use, gets you to almost anywhere in City and is very inexpensive to use. Very clean City and very safe.

Cannot wait to see Singapore again.

Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

Great to see Saigon. A few stairs to climb if you go to temples. Lots to see and do.

Bangkok (Laem Chabang)

Bangkok was fantastic to see but you only get about 3 hours to tour because it takes 3 hours to drive to Bangkok and 3 hours back. Traffic is horrible once you get near the City. Princess needs a lot more time in port to make this tour stop worth while.

Koh Samui

Loved Koh Samui. Beautiful Island and the beaches are amazing. Food was very good and if you eat where the locals go it is very inexpensive and authentic dishes.

Bali

Took a tour of the Falls and the Elephants. Also toured one of the Bali Luwak coffee places. Very good coffee. The most expensive coffee in the world. Lots of assorted Teas to taste and purchase as well as Chocolate.

Kelang (Kuala Lumpur)

Great touring the city on a Trishaw. Wall murals and temples were nice. The butterfly park was very nice.

Penang

Wall murals and temples were nice. This is were the Trishaw rides were.

Phuket

Had a tour of the James Bond Islands. Great touring in the longboats. Best way to see the islands. Great lunch after.

Again not enough time at this port to properly see the attractions. It was a Tender port and it was a 2 hour drive to get to the destination so we only had 2 -1/2 hours at the site which was very rushed. Princess needs to spend at least another 2 hours or more at this port to be worth stopping.

Nha Trang

Did a ship tour of Colours of Borneo. Nice tour and fun to use the blow guns at the village.
