We have cruised with Princess 4 times. This embarkation was quick and easy. We weren’t early and had no queues or waiting. The mini suite was very comfortable- the bed was wonderful!
The dining room food and food in general, was better than our cruise experience in the Baltic however the menus in the speciality restaurants didn’t appeal so we passed on trying them.
The shore excursions - we did one in nearly every port - can be a bit hit and miss depending on your guide. We did a boat trip back through the Miraflores locks. The guide was nice but extremely difficult to understand and the organisation of the tour was a schemozzle with the captain/ship pilot and or the food all being late causing us to sit on the boat for an hour before we even left the dock! We did an excellent walking tour with hop on-hop off option in Cartagena.
Clean and well looked after by our cabin steward.
Well conducted. The young man kept us going at a good pace with good audio information.
We went through the Miraflores locks again. The cruise was a bit disorganised at the start with the captain, Canal pilot and food for lunch all arriving an hour late. The guide was nice but very difficult to understand. Food was poor.
The zip line was great. The venue is a bit tired and unloved. The souvenir shop was very tired and overpriced. Princess cruises should vet this places a bit better.
A very small port. Be sure to establish the price of any food or drinks at the restaurants prior to ordering. Quite a pretty place but could live without it!
