le havre has less than nothing to offer .... you need to go to Honfleur, need a taxi to reach the village

The city provided free bus shuttle to the city from the port, the problem I think they sit people by alphabetic order (LOL) it took us 2 hours to get out of the ship ....

we visited the "tourist trap" Guinness brewery, a word of advise RESERVED YOUR ENTRANCE TICKET IN ADVANCE. It is interesting if you want to know how its made (3 ingredients) and you get a coupon changeable for a pint of Guinness at the end of the tour. Be aware its a very popular attraction. On the way back to the bus stop many monuments to see ....

We took a HOHO tour from the wrong company .... better tour itinerary but less buses than the red bus HOHO, the problem is nobody gets off the bus during the tour ... you may end up standing up or not be able to get on. We stopped at the Titanic museum which is worth it. The bus runs through different parts of the town which made history ... the scars are still visible.

we took the train to downtown, very easy to buy tickets. Big (steep) hill to get to the station. 20 minutes ride to the downtown station, for the return you can ask any station employee and they will gladly direct you to the right train. we did our own walking tour.

very interesting for informations about the (last) embarkation port of the Titanic. The museum outside the port, (on the right) give you a name of a passenger, when you finish the visit they tell you if you survived or not. Besides that lots of information about the Titanic and the place occupied by cruise ships those days
