We went on this cruise with 2 other couples after booking a year in advance. We had been on this same ship shortly after the major renovations for a 9 day Europe cruise and loved it.
This was our 7th Carnival Cruise. First time out of Port Canaveral. Absolutely everything about this cruise was wonderful. Embarkation was smooth. Spa Room on Deck 11 was great and contrary to another reviewer, we are not platinum yet but we did get twice a day cleaning of our room. You are given a choice by your steward at the beginning of the cruise.
We spent most of our time on the Serenity deck, and after a few days on Deck 11, we started hanging out on Deck 14 - easier to get chairs and not quite as busy. The umbrella tables and the bar stool type section that overlooks the ship were great fun.

Spa Balcony
Cabin was great. Made, the room steward was awesome. Twice a day service. Ice bucket filled every day. Room very clean. Balcony covered - sliding door. Slippers and robes provided - free use of some spa services which I never used. One of our group did go to the free yoga class.

Just walked around - always a fun place.
Port Canaveral (Orlando)
Stayed in Cocoa Beach the night before cruise - highly recommend a visit to the Cocoa Beach pier. Boarding the ship was well organized and fast.
St. Kitts (Port Zante)
We just walked around here and shopped for souvenirs.
St. Maarten
This is my favourite port. Take the water taxi to the beach/shopping area. Lots of shops on several streets - good quality stuff at reasonable prices. Also, many beachside restaurants to enjoy lunch. Happy to see how well they have done re-building since the hurricane.
