We booked a suite on the Emerald Princess on the 14th floor midship. Our room steward, Sumeth, was very attentive to our needs and made sure our room was in order every day. We had great bar service, except in the pool area, where the service was horrible. We attended only two shows in the theater as we found the seats terribly uncomfortable and the shows were not of interest to us. The ship lacked entertainment, but we enjoyed the events we did attend. The cruise staff was wonderful and very friendly - they were upbeat and always had smiles on their faces. We especially liked our waiters at breakfast in the Crown Grill and our waiter and junior waiter in the Club Class Dining Room at dinner time. Since we pay more money for a suite, we would have liked to have had more perks like on NCL where we have a concierge and a butler as well as our cabin steward and better embarkation and disembarkation. Even though we enjoyed this cruise very much, we will probably sail with NCL next time.
