We took this cruise with a large church group. We have been on 7 cruises, all with Royal Caribbean, but this was our first trip on this ship. We really enjoyed this ship since it is similar to Independence of the seas that we were on last year. We were amazed with how large our room and balcony (jr suite 1100) were. We were concerned with the location of the room since it is right next to the fitness center treadmills, but we had no problems with the sound. The only time we could hear the treadmills was if we were in the closet. We couldn't hear it in the room with the door closed. We were also concerned about the room location since it is high and close to the front, but we had smooth seas, so no problem with seasickness. The only ship entertainment we went to was the ice show and we thoroughly enjoyed that. We had great service at the dining room. The food was delicious at the dining room and the windjammer. This ship has Freestyle Coke machines, which I wish I had known before we went. I would have paid for the drink package just for those wonderful drinks. The only slight negative was the lack of cleanliness in the floors of the hallways, stairways and elevators. We never saw anyone vacuuming, and those areas really showed it. We really enjoyed the peek a boo bridge that is on deck 11 of this ship. We have not seen that on any other sailing we've been on. It was closed a couple of times we wanted to go on it, but only at super windy times.
Not sure if this room is J2 or J3. It is in the perfect location. Same level as the windjammer. We had mostly quiet neighbors. There was a family with kids a few doors down, but they didn't get up before us or stay up later than us, so we didn't mind their exuberance. ;) This room is huge! The biggest Jr suite we have ever had. I'm afraid it has spoiled us to all others. Also there is a little shelf in the bathroom that is wonderful. We could keep most of our toiletries in the bathroom for the first time every.
We didn't see any excursions we wanted to do at this port so we just stayed in the shopping plaza. Things are seriously overpriced here. The shopkeepers are a bit pushy, but not the worst I've seen. The dolphin encounter/swim place is right by the dock. We stood watching the swims and encounters for quite some time.
