Cabin: Balcony (obstructed view)

We went on this cruise with a friend who was celebrating his 50th birthday. We had been on the Diamond Princess before, so expected the newer Majestic Princess to be just as good. Sadly it wasn't. Worse cruise we've ever been on.

*Noisy cabin

*poor food - marketplace was bland and food was overcooked and dry, too much asian food

Cabin Review

Balcony (obstructed view)

Our cabin was so noisy. The balcony door creaked all night. We had to actually open the door, put the lock on, then push the door closed. This stopped some of the noise. A couple of nights in and the creaking and banging noise in the wall was so bad that we hardly slept. When we complained, we had to be put into another cabin for a night as the carpenters had to take down our internal walls to fix the problem. Very disappointed. This was not to be expected on a ship of such a young age and we've never encountered such problems on any other cruise ship
