Despite the following experience my overall experience was good. My dinner dining was great and my waiter went out of his way to accommodate my requests on more then one occasion.

If you would like to do a shore excursion and are disabled, Celebrity does not assist you(due to insurance reasons) so you will need to book private excursions or bring an assistant with you.

I had a unique experience on March 16th. While I was cruising I met a friend and on that morning I wanted to take her to the main dining room Silhouette instead of cafeteria. However she was a pescatarian and expressed her desire to go to the Ocean View Cafe. Due to my blindness going through the buffet it always takes time normally this is not a problem but because it was the last day of the cruise. I stated that we could speak to the staff at Silhouette to accommodate her dining needs. We decided to separate so we could all have food that we could enjoy. She surprised me by meeting me at Silhouette and I advised her that if they couldn't accommodate her. When we were seated, I proceeded to advise the wait staff about my dietary needs. My friend requested some roasted potatoes, and they stated there was no available. She then asked for Salmon. The dining staff stated that it was breakfast not lunch or dinner. Another waiter came and asked the same questions, while she was answering him he was giving her dirty looks. She was very upset. We decided we would leave once we finished our danishes and coffee. However she was extremely upset and had to collect herself in privacy. We ended up separating to the 2 different dining areas due to this issue. We were supposed to hang out for the day, but the experience cast a pall on the rest of the day. The issue wasn't their inability to accommodate us but the way that we were handled. I am hoping that the staff gets some additional training. I would love to hear back from someone regarding this issue.
