This was our first experience cruising with NCL and will most certainly be out last. We have sailed with Celebrity, Princess and Carnival before. This ship was underwhelming on many levels. No real "wow" factor at all. I am pretty certain that 60-70% of the passengers were college kids who were there to party hard. Drunk all the time, filling up the hot tubs for hours on end, rowdy, vaping, out of control. Partying up and down the hallways till the early morning hours. Music and live entertainment around the pool area was so loud you could hardly talk to one another. Felt like we were on a college booze cruise!

Water slide was closed for 1/2 of a sea day. Line ups were crazy, the whole 5 days, to get on, to get off, to get into restaurants, to get drinks, to get food, to tender, to go ashore. Sometimes 8-10ppl in line for omelette station at breakfast with one person making them. Service for the most part was either non existent or unacceptable. Had to wait 2 to 3 ppl deep to get drinks at the bars even for soft drinks! It quickly became like a chore. Wait times ranged from 10-30 min! Sail away party the wait for a drink was 30 min. No drink service at loungers. Getting drinks only toward the end of our meal at Taste, no quality checks.......

Cabin Review

Family Balcony

Joining family balcony cabins (2) ~ mid ship

Terrible layout, separate toilet & shower with sink/mirror at the foot of the bed! Carpet and couch dirty and stained. One of the light bulbs was burnt out (asked to have it fixed and it was done) Wanted our balcony walls open to each of our joining cabins but it was only unlocked for one day. Used dishes/glasses left in room after being made up on several occasions. Mini fridge was never unlocked.
