We have travelled with Celebrity before including this ship and Equinox. Although old and due for refit the overall condition was good. A few areas could do with some updating overall it was good with some areas having recently been re-fitted. Our cabin was good. Service was excellent everywhere and the food generally very good. Entertainment varied as it does on all ships but was up to standard. The audio volume was, of course, too high making female singers very harsh but the management will continue to ignore requests to lower the volume as 'they know best'. We had a bundled Classic drinks package which was useful but no one understood how it worked. Wine lists were difficult to find and it was not easy to find out what named drinks and pricing existed in each bar and restaurant. Some wine types ran out within 2-3 days. The daily cocktail was sometimes within the package and at other times not. The Miami management need to review how it all works. Drinks within the package were not charged the 18% gratuity which surprised and pleased us! More UK beers would be nice and not chilled. Excursions were the usual mix of good and not so good and now you have to ask for a shore map as they are kept in hiding behind the Guest Relations counter and not on show as in previous years. Internet package costs are astronomical so don't expect to use Wi-Fi on board unless you are rich. Some public areas of the ship were too cold and management need to check stat settings. Despite the negatives the experience was good.
