Our third cruise on the Legend and it didn't disappoint. The staff are always amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The food was really good in the MDR and amazing in the Nouveau restaurant. Our cabin was one we have had before and was clean, quiet and comfortable. The shows were good, probably time for a change though. The Punchliner comedians were a bit hit and miss, some were really funny and entertaining, some were a flat and not funny at all. The photographers were fun, but don't need to be so persistent. Carnival need to look at doing a photo package, individually they are expensive.
Even though the Legend had a dry dock last year, it could do with a major overhaul, it's looking a bit tired. I don't mind the decor, it's not one of the things I pay attention to.
Our overall cruise was one of the best we've had.
The cabin was really comfortable for the 2 of us. It was always very clean and the steward changed the sheets on request. Plenty of storage.
Having been to Noumea and few times now, so now we only get off the ship to top up some items at the supermarket. Our advise to travelers is to take an excursion and explore, there are some beautiful areas. The city itself is very dirty and unattractive.
The Isle of Pines is our favourite island in the south Pacific. It is absolutely amazing and we never tire of going there
