We cruised with Costa for the first time in 2018, on the Diadema. It was excellent, so we booked again on the Fortuna.

All in all, it was a good cruise, but I felt not as good an experience as the Diadema.

The ship is smaller for a start, and I missed the numerous bars and extra expanse of the Diadema.

Cabin Review

Balcony Classic

Cabin BC

as with all others we have been in. Standard layout, very clean and well maintained daily.

Port Reviews

Valencia

Do it yourself! The aquarium os only 5 mons from the ship. Book an UBER into Valencia. 15 mins and €23.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Go to Rome your own way. Train station €2 ship shuttle from the port. Then about €10 each way to Rome. 50 mins. easy.

La Spezia (Cinque Terre)

again, if thinking about the trip to Pisa, do it yourself via train from La Spezia. Cheap and easy. 50 mins.

Genoa

lovely city. UBER in to town. Done the Open top bus tour, just a walk from the ship.

Marseille

really liked the old port. UBER from ship terminal €25.
