We chose this cruise because of the itinerary.
This was our first cruise with Marella. Our first impression of the ship was good it was clean and easy to move around. Our cabin was an inside cabin, it was clean and a good size. The cabins are cleaned in the morning (if you are lucky) and the bed turned down in the evening. On one occasion our room was not touched until after we had gone for our evening meal!
The cafe on deck 9 had a reasonable selection of food which was nice but not outstanding. Breakfast was the same selection each day. We are at the main restaurant on deck 4/5 in the evenings. Again the food was very good but not outstanding. The service in the restaurant was dependent on where you sat. Most evenings our meal took about an hour.
Cabin Review
The cabin was a good size. A little lacking on storage space. The bathroom was the usual compact room we have come to expect. The bed was not particularly comfortable. The room was clean. We had a kettle with a selection of hot drinks. No fridge!
