The entire cruise was thoroughly enjoyable. Every crew member treated everyone as royalty. Every minute was enjoyable. I’ve done several ocean cruises with other cruise ships and non can compare to Viking. The service was impeccable. This was an adult cruise with no children. Very relaxing!!! The food was excellent. The entertainment was good. If you have never cruised before or even if you have; I wouldn’t recommend any other cruise lines to travel with. They make it easy and seamless. The airlines had lost my luggage upon arrival. Viking did not give up on my luggage. The front desk followed through with the airlines almost hourly. It did take two days but they were able to track down my luggage and got it delivered to me. We went on this particular cruise to see the Christmas markets. Viking’s ports of call did not disappoint. We had Christmas markets to see and wander as long as we wanted in every port. I only rated the cabin very good vs excellent because we were in the lower level of the ship with no window and heard the anchor and engines all night. But that is to be expected when you’re trying to save money for all of the souvenirs.
