It was recommended by several friends that had already taken it. It was important for us that it was a small cruise oriented to more mature people, navigated on a river, offered excursions in every Port, and everything was practically included. It was easy making reservations and getting more detailed information from the very professional travel agent from Viking. The ship was elegantly set, with many inviting seating arrangements, an upper Deck geared to socialize. Our suit Veranda AA was so comfortable with all the necessary amenities, and a lovely balcony. Dinning was compared to a five stars restaurant, at breakfast, lunch and dinner, the food was incredibly exquisite. The attention of the staff was also beyond expectations, not only they learned all our names, but they had a genuine smile on their faces at all times, and were so attentive and gracious. The entertainment after dinner was lovely and so much fun. We went with one of our daughters and son in law, in spite of being the youngest ones on the trip they also had a terrific time. The cities in the different countries visited, and the excursions on very comfortable buses, were a phenomenal cultured experience, completed by the expertise of the tour guides.

Viking made the whole trip from beginning to end smoothly, enjoyable, and unforgettable. We are looking forward the next one.

Cabin Review

Veranda Suite

Cabin AA

The small space of the suite was so well designed for comfort and relaxation. The seating room was perfect to read, watch T.V. or just to have a drink and socialize, it had a safety box very convenient for documents or valuables. Fresh fruit, water, and wines were replenished as needed. Beyond the sliding glass doors was the French balcony with a nice table ad chairs, The bedroom had a veranda with wall to wall sliding doors, had a comfortable king size bed and side tables, another T.V, and a very good size closet with two drawers. Excellent lighting everywhere. The bathroom equally designed for a small space but totally functional, well lighted and enough shelves for toiletries and cosmetics, with a very good shower.
