Just returned from the Tokyo to Singapore (25day)segment of the World Cruise on Insignia. (We were not advised at time of booking with Oceania that we were joining a world cruise)Spent a lot of money on this trip and have never had such a bad experience on Oceania. We were not aware we were joining aprox 360 world cruisers (w.c’s.) but found out right away that cliques had already been established and it was almost impossible to penetrate the barrier between the segment guests and the w.c’s. Getting a large table for dinner was near impossible (never experienced that).

Several events were organized for the w.c’s (special events and private parties)while the rest of the segment guests were left behind with little and sometimes no entertainment at all.

We also realized the segment guests were paying US$100 pp.pd more than the wc’s we assume to subsidize the world cruise.

Cabin Review

Concierge Level Veranda Stateroom

Cabin A1

New decor was bright and refreshing from the old. Bed was comfy as usual.
