This itinerary suited us. We had been wanting to do a crossing and we used to live in the Azores, so it was perfect for us. We were not sure how we would feel about six days at sea, but they were awesome. The ship was clean, crew everywhere taking care of things. Never had to wait for a drink or any other service. The crew at the coffee bar were especially nice, and hard working.

We tried specialty dining for the first time ever, we bought a pre-cruise specialty restaurant package. We only ate in Tuscan, it was wonderful.

Blu was great as usual. My only complaint about any of the restaurants is that the tables are too close. At our table for two, it usually ended up as a table of six with two couples nearby on both sides. The staff did note that we liked to to be off from the crowd, and since we were willing to give up window views, they did seat us off in a corner and only put folks around us when necessary, We appreciated that very much.

Cabin Review

AquaClass 1

Cabin A1

The cabin was ready for us right at 1:30pm. Clive our attendant met us promptly and took a few moments to get to know us. The cabin was fine, typical AquaClass. I forgot shaving cream, and there was none for sale in any of the shops, and Clive bought me a can from the crew store.
