Be very careful when you choose an asian cruise like we did. We combined it with a China trip/Japan cruise and it was a nightmare. 4000 plus chinese pushing/shoving yelling etc. plus no shows /no proper western food/ excursions not as advertised. Getting on and off the ship was horrendous. There is no please/excuse me etc. It is just push and shove/and yell.

The dining in the buffet was all for the asians/ very little western food, Their eating behaviour was disgusting. You were lucky to hold on to your plate when walking to a table. All the Restaurants served the same food- again nothing western geared, so you had to like their type of food for a week.

All the activities were chinese geared. Shows were virtually non existing. There was 1 rather odd show and the rest - we had chinese magicians ( spoke chinese) only translated every so often, and other than that there was nothing for us. My husband and I are in our 70's- have cruised quite extensively and this cruise has left a shocking taste in our mouth.

Port Reviews

Osaka

Only had 1/2 hour, then back on bus to go to "shop" not as advertised and paid for. Got to see barely anything at shrine. Not worth it at all

Tokyo (Yokohama)

this was another tour that was not what was advertised and was very rushed. The gardens were lovely but again there was not enough time to enjoy

Tokyo (Yokohama)

the gardens were nice, but again very rushed
