We loved being on the ship longer and having more sea days. We were in a sky suite which was most comfortable. We enjoyed eating in Lumina each night and spending time in Michael's Club. I need to be gluten free and I was so well taken care of, even having gluten free scones in Michaels' Club for the afternoon tea. The ship is beautiful..this was our fifth cruise on it. The staff is amazing and so willing to help in any way. We celebrated my husband's birthday and our anniversary on the cruise. Murano is our favorite specialty restaurant. Their service, as well as all the service on the ship, is exceptional. We enjoyed meeting and being with the Cruise Critic members, being in the meet and greet, slot pull, book club, and other activities.

The shore excursions I took were mostly arranged through Cruise Critic members before the cruise. I do not recommend the ship's excursions. It is a huge bus filled with people, some of which find it difficult to get on and off the bus, and some who are late arriving back to the bus while everyone waits, etc. We took one excursion to Kinsale with the ship's excursions,, which was four hours long and we spent three hours on the bus. I was disappointed to only have 45 minutes in Kinsale, which is why I arranged the excursion. I complained when I got back to the ship and they would not refund any of our money. What a waste of our afternoon!

The entertainment was good. The speakers were disappointing, as we have had very interesting ones before on our transatlantic cruises. Read more
