Embarkation-super easy, quick and painless
Stateroom- was great, double bed that could be split, sofa that turned into a bed, and upper bunk brought down during turn down service.
We did not see much of our stateroom host. But he was quietly efficient. Great towel animals!
Dining: Really awesome. Food was great! If you don't like something they will replace it. Servers do magic tricks for the kids. We went to Palo during our night at Tritons. The kids did not like that one too much. But Palo cost us about $70 when it was all said and done, $15 each, plus 2 glasses wine $24 plus tip. Seems to be about the same as we would have paid going out. so you really kind of lose a free dinner. I don't think we would eat there again-even though it was outstanding. Buffets were very clean and nicely presented.
Kid club- 12 year old would not go in. They really need to revisit their age groups. 3-12??? how about 0-3, 3-6, 6-10 middle school and high school. I did not see anyone over 9 in the kids club.
We skipped Nassau. Most people did, the ship was pretty crowded during this time.
Cayman Cay was awesome. But don't plan to go jet skiing... $320 for 2 people on a jet ski for 45 minutes. x2 for family. You might as well buy the jet ski.
Did the stingray excursion that was great. loved the beach. ran the adult 5k with my 16 year old son, well behind my 16 year old son. they let him run too, but said they wouldn't take responsibility for him. But the leader still looked out for him which I appreciated.
Entertainment: We went to all three shows. And loved them! We all had different favorites so see them all. They are real broadway quality.
The kids pools were crowded and pretty murky. Too much sunscreen in the water I think. Also there is a huge television that turns kids into zombies. Have you ever seen 20 kids in a pool? No one playing? All staring at the tv? They should turn that thing off sometimes.
Great cabin. 7th floor is perfect! Nice balcony!
