Don't mean to sound negative, but didn't have the fantastic experience so many others report. Airport pickup at Budapest went well, as did the pre-cruise experience, despite poor weather. Guide for Jewish Budapest one of the best on entire trip. However ...
Had no lunch on embarkation day as it was supposed to be provided on board. We were a bit late arriving at the dock, so nothing available until dinner that night. Many passengers in larger groups, so a bit awkward at mealtimes; not to say we didn't encounter many nice, interesting folks, just that they tended to gravitate in their groups.
Staff were unfailingly nice, excursions very well presented, although one guide I found very political. Director did a terrific job advising of photo opportunities from ship, as well the lock process.
Fairly small, but adequate. Lots of electric sockets, water provided, refrigerator for drinks brought along was useful. No issue with cleaning service. Sometimes there was another boat alongside. Very quiet experience, minor hall noise at mealtimes.
Guide was terrific, just sorry we couldn't go to the Castle for photos of city.
No excursion - went into town, but most shops closed on Sunday.
