Extraordinarily interesting ports with Sea Days perfectly interspersed to rest for exhausting shore excursions. Seas were calm; chilly but sweaters and light jackets sufficed.
The Brilliance although not new was well laid-out and never felt crowded. Solarium was especially comfortable with additional food choices (great quick roast beef sandwich) Smaller, quieter dining area also available in casual dining. Main dining room was excellent for breakfast lunch and dinner.
RC's Shore excursions were remarkably good---especially the "Soviet Experience" in Estonia. Entertainment was unexpectedly good.
Connects with 8606. Slightly larger (triangle shaped) balcony than normal as it is the transition cabin from the "hump" to regular balconies -- but no real advantage other than size and no view toward the front of the ship. I would have preferred a cabin actually on the hump.
Cabin is very conveniently laid out - plenty of space and lighting- but "worn"--(stained sofa)
