Sail Date: May 2019
Cabin: Club Continent Suite

We have sailed Azamara a number of times and really enjoy the on-board experience. This itinerary attracted us because of the variation in cultures and climate.

The embarkation was very smooth and we were quickly processed. .

Because of an upgrade, we were staying in a Club Continent Suite as opposed to our usual Veranda 2. We really enjoyed the extra space, but did not utilize all the perks associated with the Suite.

Cabin Review

Club Continent Suite

Cabin N2

We loved the layout and size of this suite. There was lots of drawer and closet room for our clothes.

The only small drawback is that the shower is incorporated with a bathtub.

Port Reviews

Cadiz

The usual walking tour with a tendency to provide too much information.

Lisbon

Lots of fascinating neighborhoods

Saint-Malo

Interesting walls to walk and a compact downtown.

Rouen

Azamara provided a shuttle to the impressive downtown area. The Cathedral, shopping area, and the tributes to Joan of Arc all make it worthwhile. There was also a gathering of "Tall Ships" on the Seine.

Honfleur

Another very picturesque port town on this itinerary. Smaller and rather more touristy than the others.

Cherbourg

A ship's tour to Bayeux was excellent. Interesting countryside, beautiful Cathedral, and the highlight is the Bayeux Tapestry.

Porto (Leixoes)

A picturesque location on the Douro River.
