The ship is very clean and beautiful. We booked 10 cabins. Overall we had a great time but our biggest complaint was the constant wrong information from the Princess employees. An example: a passenger in the buffet wanted a to go cups of coffee. The staff told her there’s a cafe on deck 5. That’s true but how about the cafe that’s located right in the buffet. Almost every cabin had 1 person with a medallion issue. Most were resolved with a short phone call prior to the cruise. I contacted Princess at least 7 times to resolve my issue. Everyone was very nice and said they would notified Tech support, most issues are resolved in a day and don’t worry when you get to the port everything will work. WRONG!!! No one ever called me back, I never received my medallion at home, my group was told they could not wait for me at the port, when I got my medallion at the port it did not work (delayed at security, I could not get in my cabin, I could not get a drink!!!). Result: I used an access card until the evening on day 3 of the cruise when they delivered a working medallion. They notified us to try and get to the port from 10am to noon to help with the boarding proses. We did unfortunately no one outside the port is ready for passengers. We dragged our luggage though a maze of ramps, elevator, garage, etc so we could sit and wait for the ship to allow passengers. Our friends got there at noon and walked right on with no wait and no maze to follow. Everyone, I mean everyone, was very very nice but Princess is definitely lacking in efficiency. Last, I tried to contact Princess after our cruise to tell them about our experience directly, they informed my that they don’t take complaints over the phone and it has to be in writing. I don’t like writing reviews, but if you want it in writing....,
The cabin was perfect for the days at sea looking at the glaciers.
