We chose Amawaterways after reading some very positive critics about food and excursions on their ships.
On Amaviola, food was fair but not exceptional compare to other cruise lines but "La table du chef", once by cruise, deserve congratulations.
For excursions , it's true that choices were varied for every kind of people, young and older ones even with bike rides offered.
Cabin was clean and light with his design ( 2 types of balconies) but smaller then cabins offered on Avalon waterways with only french balconies. So bathroom was smaller too.
We had impression that every thing was smaller.
Service room was OK but not exceptional ....forgetting bathroom towels one day for which we were obliged to go to front desk which wasn't answering at phone !
