This cruise fit our time and budget. We also like HA cruises as we find them slightly better than the other cruise lines. HA is one of the few that sails into Glacier Bay, which is a highlight of the cruise. i would not cruise to Alaska without going to Glacier Bay.
The food and service was excellent. There was a minor issue with the balcony divider that rattled, which they fixed - they also fixed a minor issue in the bathroom shower without us even telling them.
The ship was impeccably clean, and the state room service was great.
Very good cabin with unobstructed view. My wife like the bathtub (and shower) combination. We spent a fair amount of time on the balcony, especially when in glacier bay.
I live close to Vancouver. If you only have a day here, walk or bike around Stanley Park. (10 kilometers) This is the best thing to do in Vancouver.
In my opinion this a must see in Alaska, Don't take a cruise that does not offer this option. This was not an excursion but the whole ship goes into the bay (a national park) and spends the day cruising. I found the pea soup on deck to be a nice touch (I am dutch and love dutch pea soup)
Purchased this directly and took the railway from town. This was a round trip and very scenic
