I chose this cruise for the ports and excursions. For me, the ship is often just a means of getting to excursions. I plan my excursion so that they are all different and hopefully unique, with a mix of active and less active tours. That was difficult to do on this trip, as two of our five excursions were cancelled at the last minute, forcing us to scramble for others.

The entertainment was so-so, with most of the comedians the worst of all. Technical difficulties tripped up the RC singers and dancers.

The promenade was unbelievably crowded and loud; even young people were complaining about the volume. Making our way through the crowds was treacherous, and we could see several small children with their parents almost get run over by the crowds.

Port Reviews

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

A lot of fun, but not for someone who has never ridden. The ride often takes offf at a canter, and the horses are not easy to control for a novice.

Antigua

Swimming with the stingrays, then snorkeling. Saw lots of stingrays and fish, and were able to hold and feed the stingrays. Fun, and easy for folks who are not strong swimmers.

St. Lucia

Very relaxing. A bit crowded, but not overly so.

Barbados

Very interesting, but felt a bit rushed at times.
