We had always wanted to try a Trans-Atlantic. Even the 5 Sea Days in a row weren't bad, as there was a lot of choices to keep you busy. We loved the intimacy all-around on the Pacific Princess. The "Old World" theme of decorating made the entire ship very elegant. Our cruise director Lynn, was the most personable and energetic we have ever been around! The captain came by dinner several times just to stop an visit. The excursions were all Princess - and they were just what they promised!
We could not have asked for better food! I have special dietary restrictions and they took excellent care of me - in the dining room, up top on the grill, or in the buffet. All Ii had to do was mention my problems, and they catered to every need. The waiters were so friendly. One, Alfred, gave you a hug and smile - no matter where you ran into him - even on shore!
We loved every minute of this cruise and the scenery was just breathtaking as well!
Cabin Review
Our cabin was a traditional balcony room and it was extremely comfortable. The ship had just been refurbished and they had new mattresses. All in all we were very pleased and might choose a trip to anywhere this ship sails! Our steward went above and beyond in meeting our cabin needs.

Titanic artifacts, as well as fishing, maritime history of city. Great!!
Peggy's Cove was amazing, as were the Maritime Museum (Titanic aftifacts) and the Citadel. But, best of all was our guide, Mel - He loves his city and knows all about it. He told us things about the Swiss Air disaster that occurred near Peggy's Cove and how the city took in stranded 9-11 airplane passengers, who were grounded there. He even went in the restaurant and brought out a male and female lobster and taught us the difference!

Another gorgeous waterfall - and beautiful gardens. Shopping afterward - loved it!
We went to Jarlshof ruins, saw seals laying on the beach, and stopped at Hoswick Visitor's Center. We loved the ruins - they have uncovered several time periods. We were intrigued with the shetland ponies and sheep everywhere we went. At Hoswick - they had crafts made by local artisans. Very good tour!
We cruised the Vestmanna Sea Cliffs - there are no words. Amazing, beautiful, unbelievable!
