Our first Azamara was on the 8-day Croatian Intensive out of Venice. Previously we have cruised Celebrity and quite a few on RC. We were delighted with the experience. No one pushing drinks, spa service or pricey add-ons. Standard beer, wine and cocktails are included. The only option is for a high end drink package. We did not buy that but had excellent wines.

We seldom encountered question lines anywhere and the staff was uniformly delightful. The excursions were well done, the Azamazing evening was incredible and White Night was a lot of fun.

We enjoyed the more mature group on board, and met fascinating, friendly people.

Club Deluxe Veranda Stateroom

Cabin VX

The usual size for ocean view with veranda. Decent storage space. Mini fridge, adequate TV. Shower is small but workable.

The banquette seat is a bit bulky and less than useful but not a negative. Two chairs and a table on the veranda. My favorite coffee and reading place.

The bed and bedding were very comfortable. A lot of hanging space. One complaint: the hair dryer was weak and you have to continually hold ‘the trigger.’
