1. Seattle cruise terminal again was organized and FRIENDLY for both departure and arrival. Everything moved smoothly and the wait wasn't unbearable. Plenty of room for all to sit if they so desired.

2. One of the passengers had been to Alaska on 2 other occasions, second one it was the first trip. We wanted to see as much as we could so we booked the 14 day trip.

3. Each port was unique and glad to have such a variety of places to go.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean-View Stateroom

Cabin D

I took some pictures, I hope they attach OK.

This room is shower only. This was huge for us. The shower has grab bars and only about a 2 inch "lip" to step over to get in. The size is the same as the bathtub would be. I read the room would be larger, that wasn't true.

There is a lighted makeup mirror and a separate hand held in the drawer with the hair dryer. I think the magnification was 10x at least (i could see in it)

Room was very quiet. Being located near the stairs we had only 1 port day when the hallway was noisey and crowded while people waited. There was no extra loud traffic to the medical facility just down the hall.

We enjoyed the room and a few days, sat and read and watched "Alaska TV" go by the window.

Port Reviews

Ketchikan

Tour was informative and the driver a student from Idaho did a fine job

Juneau

Clear sunny day, views were good, Hiked to the Falls and saw a bear print in the sand

Juneau

Clear views, not crowded, walked some of the trails and saw the totem poles in the forest. That was interesting

Anchorage

Driver was tremendous, she sang songs of Anchorage and even road kill it was a fun time.

Kodiak

Fort Ambercrombie Fort hike and tour was fun and VERY informative. The guide's husband works for NFS and she was friendly, knowledgeable and just a fun tour even in the mist. We even got to hike the "moss trail" which isn't usually included. So glad I didn't have to live in one of the huts located there during WWII
